Further SDSL rollout?

Posted: Thursday 6th May 2004 by Sam
Word on the street this morning is that BT are going to be enabling a further 150 exchanges for SDSL in the near future.

Following the launch of BT Wholesale's SDSL demand tracker in February, rumours have been rife that BT has been disappointed with uptake. Keep in mind that this was never released publicly, nor were the registration figures. It's a case of: Send in registrations, BT decides when to upgrade it for SDSL.

However, BT have reportedly now asked ISP's for lists of exchanges they would like to see SDSL enabled on. ISP's have until the 14th of May to respond. With a bit of luck we should see a preliminary list of the 150 not too long after that then!
