a journal of new literature and art

for bookstores.

Redivider, formerly the Beacon Street Review, is the newly renamed, relaunched graduate student-run literary magazine of Emerson College. Published twice yearly, Redivider features poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, plays and art by, as well as interviews with and reviews of, established and emerging artists from around the world.

Darkly comic yet cuttingly sad, accessible yet challenging, Redivider aims to be as intriguing, offbeat, and compulsively readable as the personal ads. Intelligent and eclectic, our writers take risks. Unlike some other journals whose pieces seem to blur into a unified monotone, our magazine is polyvocal and compelling, so much so that we bet you’ll read each issue cover to cover!

The Spring 2006 issue of Redivider is now available, and the Fall 2006 issue is due out in December 2006. If you are interested in selling Redivider in your bookstore, please contact the Editor-in-Chief, Chip Cheek at redivider@emerson.edu.
