This is one of the most visually impressive WADs I've ever played. You start on a cliff above a sea complete with moving and breaking waves. I've never seen anything like it in Doom before or since and it looks absolutely brilliant. The sky is equally spectacular, cleverly drawn to give a Quake II-ish skybox effect. The author has been very thorough with his application of shadows, further heightening the realism. The rest of the architecture throughout the levels is great, showing imagination and inventiveness rarely seen in Doom.
And now for the even better news. Earth is great fun to play, with many cleverly constucted fights guranteed to get you thinking and in all probability, swearing. But in a good way, of course :-) The atmosphere is terrific and the difficulty level just right. All in all, a truely superb WAD.
