Patrick Fugit, who broke out last year as the young star of Almost Famous, has agreed to make his next film director Peter Kosminsky's White Oleander. Adapted from the Janet Fitch novel of the same name by screenwriter Mary Agnes Donohue (Beaches), the film starts shooting next month.
