What is Prime Access?
Prime Access is offered to anyone receiving qualifying government assistance with a valid program ID or document to prove eligibility.
Is Prime Access different than the full price Prime membership?

What qualifying documents do I need to provide to verify eligibility?
To qualify for Prime Access, please be prepared to upload one of nine forms of verification for any of the following government assistance programs: Supplemental Security Income (this is different from Social Security and SSDI), SNAP, Medicaid, Direct Express Debit Card (DE), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), National School Lunch Program (NSLP), Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), Women, Infants, and Children program (WIC), Tribal assistance eligibility letter (TTANF), or Puerto Rico's Nutrition Assistance Program (NAP).
If I don’t qualify for government assistance, what other Prime plans should I check out?

Membership and billing
Does Prime Access offer a free trial?
Yes. Before you begin paying $6.99/month for a monthly membership—if you’ve not qualified for a Prime membership in the last 12 months—you can sign up for a free 30-day trial. To sign up, your account must have a current, valid payment method. You can re-qualify for a free trial once every 12 months.
Can I share my Prime benefits with other household members?
Yes. Prime Access members can share certain benefits with other adults in their Amazon Household. Click here to learn more.
When will I be billed for my membership?
Once you’ve uploaded and verified your eligibility for Prime Access, you’ll enter your payment details. Then, you’ll begin your 30-day free trial. Once your free trial ends, we’ll automatically charge for the next membership period using the payment method you provided.
If I’m not satisfied, can I cancel anytime? Will I be refunded?
Yes. You can cancel your Prime Access membership at any time by visiting your account and updating your membership preferences. Paid members who haven’t used their benefits may be eligible for a full refund for the current membership period.

Yes. Aside from qualifying on desktop, you can also sign up on a mobile web browser. However, you can not qualify directly on the Amazon shopping app.
