Meet Rena Janamnuaysook

Rena is a transgender woman and health and human rights advocate in Bangkok, Thailand. Rena founded The Tangerine Community Health Center, a TREAT Asia network member and the first sexual health and well-being clinic for transgender people in the region. April 18 is National Transgender HIV Testing Day, and because of dedicated advocates like Rena, routine HIV testing, prevention and healthcare services are available to many transgender people every day.
