Looks like Rockstar worked hard to make GTA3 work on a touch screen Kindle, but as a result it doesn't really work with the Fire TV Game Controller. I've tried and there doesn't seem to be anyway to open the map or control various actions. This makes the game almost useless - if you can't open the map you can't complete the missions or progress in the game. It's a great shame. I played GTA3 on PS2 for hours when it came out, with a very similar controller, so it's doubly frustrating that this version is pretty much unplayable.
