these speedo ear plugs were ok. They go in abit deep. so can be uncomportable and painful sometimes. although they hold water out which stops one problem, but prolonged insertion may give you another problem, a pain in the ear!

I read other reviews that said these kept the water out but allowed sound through. They're ok, although my right side is a better fit than the left for some reason. I haven't found that they let the sound through, and I have to remove one of them to hear.

two years - no problems

I've been using these for two years and I swim 5 times a week - indoors and outdoors. I used to get swimmers ear - haven't had it since using these. Remember to rinse them after use and that you don't need to shove 'em in.

Great earplugs - comfortable and keep the water out

I swim several times a week, and am very prone to ear infections. Since having these, I've not had an infection, and have had much less trapped water in my ears. They are small and a bit fiddly, and I had to experiment with positioning to get them comfortable for a full session, but I wouldn't swim without them now. They come in a tiny plastic box, so are easy to keep in your swim bag. I also wear a swim cap, and the lack of instructions with the earplugs meant that the first few times I tried them, I positioned the spike pointing downwards. This led to them popping out during my swim session as my hat started to slide a bit after about 30 mins hard swimming. I then re-positioned them with the spike upwards, and have had no more problems - they stay in just fine, with a good seal, and don't catch on my cap. They are comfortable to wear, so much so I sometimes forget until I get to the shower to wash my hair. They also block out a bit, but not all noise for those that like a quiet swim. It is difficult to hear someone talking once you are in the pool. I'd recommend.

Epic plugs!

I surf and lifeguard on the beach and these plugs are amazing! They fit really secure and still allow sound to pass through so you don't feel deaf in the water. Have only lost one plug since May when the surf was pretty solid and I fell on my head. Really comfortable fit have been walking around and forgotten I had them in many times! For price and functionality you cannot get better!
