I'm sold! I am eager to see episode two.
Well produced, the dialogue flows, the right amount of tension in some promising concepts/story lines.

I was pleasantly surprised how good a first episode was of EXTANT, some familiar faces from the big screen gave a great feel to the whole episode, often on first episodes my mind begins wonder what they are trying to put across, Dominion being a prime example, Extant kept me interested from start to finish and i am looking forward to the next episode as the plot thickens. If you enjoy the genre then this is one definitely to watch.

Have watched both the first and second episodes of this new series and loved both. Halle Berry is great as main character, and there's no problems with rest of the cast either. Just sorry I have to wait a week to see the next episode.

Good sci-fi is one of the harder genres to succeed in. Extant has had a promising start, the first episode seemingly a mash-up of 2001 and The Omen. It will be interesting to see how the story develops and whether it keeps us watching.

I really enjoyed this. Some interesting developments in the storylines. We've got re-generation from what we've been given a glimpse of; alien insemination from what we can gather; artificial intelligence and the ethics of this and some ideas of what living in the future could look like.
It can only grow from here. Hopefully they won't try cram too much into it like Penny Dreadful.

Well, I'm totally hooked and I'm not really a sci fi fan. It's my new addiction since Fargo finished. Look forward to every Thursday for my next instalment of this thriller. But I want the next one NoW! Have no probs with streaming as mentioned by some other reviewers.

I really enjoyed this. Definitely not predictable and a great start for episode 1. Lots of plot lines - I wont say them here in case someone is reading this before they watch it - but Im looking forward to find out what happens with them all. Cant wait for the next one

I thought this was a great start & a good sic-fi idea, looking forward to how this develops in the future. I am old enough to remember Crossroads in the 70's so I am 'expert' on wooden acting and moving scenery; this had neither, the characters are well thought out and the actors played them excellently, and Halle Berry is superb!
