5.0 out of 5 stars ***** Star for it!
I am really pleased with these nappy though I still prefer huggies but they're out already in the market so no choice but to change it. Love and prefer the baby dry ones than the active ones.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not good enough!
Reading the last review, I've encountered the same problem. 1.0 out of 5 stars Not good enough!, 28 Jan 2014
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Reading the last review, I've encountered the same problem. I have been buying Giga packs of Pampers No. 5 Nappies for about 10 months - up until now, I've been happy with the quality and performance of the nappies. However, the last batch was very disappointing as the quality was nowhere near as good as previous batches: the sides split regularly and the nappy itself appeared to be less absorbent, with my son frequently waking early in the morning soaked through. They were also unable to cope with large volumes of No. 2! I noticed that the designs on these nappies were different from previous packs, and I wonder weather they were not intended for the UK market? It would be good if Amazon could ensure consistency in the quality of these nappies from Pampers. Also, the price fluctuates from about 16 to 20 from month to month - I'd be willing to pay the additional amount to secure the usual high quality nappy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Baby Not So Dry, 1 April 2014
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Not as good as the baby dry you can buy in The supermarket the nappies seem a lot thinner and I have had a few leeks. I would not buy again I buy baby dry for the quality and was very disappointed by these. I don't know why they are different you would presume that the quality would be the same especially with a big brand like pampers as the saying goes you get what you pay for and that is true in this case

2.0 out of 5 stars Poo leaks!, 6 April 2014
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I like the material of pampers nappy, it's good for pee, but I don't know what happened, soft poo ALWAYS leaks, even only in normal amount. I thought it was too big, but my baby is almost 7kgs, so I don't think that was the problem. I tried to pull the straps tighter, but still leaking. Very disappointing :(

It said 70 nappies on the pack and I received two packets of 35 each. They seem to be usual Pampers quality.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I received a box of these free via the Amazon Vine programme.

I usually order Pampers Baby Dry through the `Subscribe and Save' scheme, but Amazon wrote to me recently to tell me that my regular bundle would no longer be available. I now see why: they're being deleted in favour of these.

This latest `new and improved' update to Pampers nappies has also attracted a reduction in the number of nappies (used to be 152 in the large bundle size, now there are only 132), whilst the price has risen. The big new improvement? Up to 12 hour wear. Which sounds like a good thing, but in practice isn't all that meaningful a change.

The nappies are good quality. They generally work well and don't leak (we didn't get on as well with the Active Fit ones). The fit is good and the tapes hold things securely in place. Overnight, they're usually fine. But then, we weren't having a problem with them before.

However, that `up to 12 hours' still seems to be a very loose guide. If your child pees heavily then after just a few hours the lock away core on these can get quite full and be beginning to break down into grains.
