3.0 out of 5 stars Check that it will fit your tablet
The Amazon blurb states "Adjustable Stand for 6-Inch to 7-Inch Display e-Readers and Tablets" and then goes on to give examples the kindle fire or samsung galaxy tab if you have one of these with the same dimensions it is no doubt a very good case / holder as it is well made which will protect the tablet and the ability to hold a tablet at various angles would be useful...

The Amazon blurb states "Adjustable Stand for 6-Inch to 7-Inch Display e-Readers and Tablets" and then goes on to give examples the kindle fire or samsung galaxy tab if you have one of these with the same dimensions it is no doubt a very good case / holder as it is well made which will protect the tablet and the ability to hold a tablet at various angles would be useful. BUT I have just bought a NATPC M009S NATPC M009S 8GB Capacitive Android 4.0 (ICE CREAM SANDWICH) , 7" , 1.6 GHz Super Slim Android Tablet PC with Responsive Capacitive Screen - Flash Player 11.1 - Compatible with BBC iPlayer / Youtube / Amazon Kindle / Facebook - HD 2160P - now with 8GB St...and unfortunatly it just does not fit as the corner elastic straps are too small to fit the tablet. The dimensions of my tablet are 198 x 117 x 9.8mm so if yours is a similar size or larger it will not fit.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fine quality product - Does not fit Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 P3110, 5 April 2013

This product is well made and practical for holding tablets upright.
However be warned if you are purchasing for a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0....the strap will impinge on the power button continuously. This will cause the tablet to reboot. Have tried securing the tablet with just three straps but tablet will pop out easily.
This may not have been an issue with the first generation Tab 7.0

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazon = Quality, 4 Nov 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: AmazonBasics Leather Folio Cover with Multi-Angle Adjustable Stand for Kindle Fire 7-Inch / Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Black (Electronics)
I have been looking at cases in the shops for my 7 inch tablet, and they were either overpriced, or the quality was poor. Most secure the tablet by covering the edges of the face, which is what I don't want because of the camera.

So I then started searching amazon for 7 inch tablet cases to see other varieties and read reviews for them.

Near the end of my trolling for cases I finally came across this AmazonBasics case and read the reviews.

I read one review that said they would expect to pay much more for this quality. I thought that it wouldn't be low quality, because Amazon has a reputation, and they wouldn't want to tarnish that reputation, so that is also what made me purchase one of these.

And it is just like that reviewer described!

Yes the construction is very good! It may not be real leather (I am not a leather expert), but it does simulate the look and feel of leather as it is also textured like leather.

It is a very durable and rigid cover. The inside is lined with something similar to velvet pile. There are 3 deep ridges to rest the tablet into for the desired angle you want, and they do the job great!

The elastic straps are the kind used in the clothing industry, and they are good quality and very securely sown into the product.

As there are 4 corner elastic straps to secure your tablet into the case, just as other reviewers have said, it is easy to get 3 straps over the corners, but the 4th strap is a little difficult.

I think that this is their intention to make it a tight fit, I would rather call it, a perfect fit. Because my tablet isn't too big...no, my tablet is the right size, and this is designed with the right tolerance for that.

You want it secure! If it was any looser then my tablet would be allowed to move side to side or shift clockwise or counter-clockwise etc.

For my particular tablet, one corner strap does cover the charger connector and power button, but that isn't a problem as I can also charge by the mini usb port as well and I can still press the power button through the strap. Another strap covers the headphone jack, which isn't a big deal for me, it wont be used much and when I do, I can just slide the strap out of the way enough.

It is very professionally styled, and of such a good quality, you should expect to pay more.

Also, mine is impression stamped with the AmazonBasics logo, as I have read some reviewers were not.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I have a few of these Amazon Basics cases now, and as always this is great quality. It holds my tablet very well and with great protection. The inner is seemingly micro fibre or similar so keeps the screen nice and safe along with the hard backing of the case itself.

The only minor quibble is the same with other Basics products: The branding. I don't need an Amazon Basics logo on the case.

4.0 out of 5 stars No cut out for camera for samsung galaxy tab, 28 April 2012
This review is from: AmazonBasics Leather Folio Cover with Multi-Angle Adjustable Stand for Kindle Fire 7-Inch / Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Black (Electronics)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
I am using this with my samsung galaxy tab 7 inch p1000.

Firstly there is no cut out for the camera so you have to take the device out of the case to take all but 'you' facing webcam pictures.

It is very fiddly to get the device in. The four corners have diagonal elastic straps to hold in the unit, trying to get all four on takes a few minutes as one goes on = another comes off. However once in place the unit is held firmly in the cover. Also all the buttons (real & virtual) and the 'webcam' camera are easy to use.

The cover is very clever in holding the device at angles that are comfortable on your lap as well as being visible when on worktops. As another reviewer said it's great for cooking (or anything you need to use to follow instructions but need to be hands free to perform a task).

There is an elastic strap that holds the case together when not using the tablets. This is easy to use.

It feels sturdy, and secure.

4.0 out of 5 stars Upstanding cover, 1 May 2012

This review is from: AmazonBasics Leather Folio Cover with Multi-Angle Adjustable Stand for Kindle Fire 7-Inch / Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Black (Electronics)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This Cover/Stand for 6-7-inch display e-readers and tablets is generally well-made. The leather is a bit hard, but is nicely textured. The case is quite bulky - a good bit thicker than the Kindle Keyboard Lighted Leather Cover, Black, although it is marginally less wide. The difference in depth seems to be entirely accounted for by the stand integrated into this model.

The inside of the case is lined in a soft-piled microfibre material and quite deeply padded, so I feel fairly confident that a device placed in here will be well-protected. Both inside and outside the case is nicely sewn. Readers/tablets are held in place via elastic straps, and the case is held closed by a wide, flat, elastic strap.

Although this is marketed generally for 6 to 7 inch display ereaders as well as tablets, there are quite a few widely available ereaders for which this isn't a suitable cover, including the majority of the Kindle models that have received a UK release. All-New Kindle, Kindle Touch and the Sony PRS-T1 are all too short in length to be held in place by the elastic straps at the corners of this case. The case is, however, a good size for Kindle Keyboard models as well as tablets of similar proportions, such as the Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000, and the Disgo 7000. The fit of the devices into the case is snug - the four corner strap fasteners are quite strong and don't have a lot of give in them, and it can be rather fiddly getting these into place on your tablet/reader. On the plus side, once these straps are in place, your device is held very securely.

For me, the best feature of this case is the adjustable stand. This works very simply: with your device in place, just tilt the back cover of the case, and slot the inner edge into one of three docking grooves on the inside of the front cover. The result is a robust-feeling stand that allows you a choice of working angles and is not prone to collapsing.

Pros:
- Secure fit
- Nice quality
- Case has a closure
- Adjustable stand

Cons:
- Fiddly to put device in
- It's a generic cover, so doesn't have device specific cut-outs e.g. for cameras

Absolutely superb. Great quality, looks far more expensive than it is, perfect fit for the Fire. Easy to use. I noted before I bought it that others had complained about the 'Amazon basics' wording printed on the front, this is impressed into the leather rather than printed, is a very small font size and not at all noticeable, can't see why it would be an issue.

Excellent product. Bought this to contain my Versus TouchTab7 Dual Core.VERSUS TOUCHTAB 7" DUAL CORE 16GB TABLET ANDROID 4.1 BLUETOOTH. It fits perfectly well and the folio is very well made and very strong. And it's at a good price. (if you've bought an expensive portable item then put it in a strong/durable protective container).

Highly recommend this product.
