Ryobi RLT1830H13 18V One+ Hybrid Line Trimmer with&hellip by Ryobi
5.0 out of 5 stars Strimmer - Trimmer, 25 April 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
My previous flimsy mains electric strimmer has now been replaced by a sturdy trimmer as described by Ryobi. Apart from its robust construction a major advantage is its dual operation with choice between mains or battery, and on testing I found no difference in performance, and this continues with the battery for up to hour depending on grass length and toughness of terrain. The Ryobi trimmer is superb in use as the length of shaft can be adjusted to suit operative, and it may be rotated from horizontal to vertical for edging.

The trimmer cuts well and I award 5-star rating for the product but have 2 opposing gripes the battery charger/pack instruction leaflet is over… Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars Consequences, 24 April 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Apart from limited glimpses backwards and short comments on future life the story of Flora covers just a few weeks towards the end of World War II. Helen resents Flora, finds her simplistic, and sets out to control her, but as she does she explores memories, she experiences life changing events, and she is exposed by self-analysis.

In response to a polio scare Helen and Lora are restricted to an old rambling house separate from the town, and their only contacts apart from an odd visitor are via weekly sessions with a… Read more
Rules of Crime (A Detective Jackson Mystery) by L.J. Sellers
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
Educated readers will already be aware that a sorority is a social organisation for female students, and hazing is an initiation ceremony usually involving abuse - and that's partly what `Rules of Crime' is about - but also a kidnapping that involves rules. It is the second Detective Jackson novel I have read and it is a similar `police procedural' telling a rollicking tale that is complex and convoluted - crimes become tangled but this eventually contributes to their solution. In spite of embracing a number of back-stories `Rules of Crime' is fine as a stand-alone thriller, but as previously there are rather too many experiences and events that relate to the investigators, criminals and… Read more
