Receive Payment for a Trade-In

If your submission is accepted the gift card will appear in your Amazon account within 2 business days. Your gift card payment will be automatically added to the available balance on your account.

To check your payment amount, do one of the following:

Check your gift card balance. Your payment may be split over multiple gift cards.

Check your e-mail for a notification about whether your items were accepted or rejected.
Note:
- The item meets the trade-in condition guidelines as described in Trade-In Product Eligibility.
- You make your submission and print a mailing label while the price is still posted.
- Your parcel is postmarked within 7 calendar days of submitting your trade-in.
- Your items are verified and accepted by the third-party merchant.
Any submissions that don't meet these guidelines may be returned to you, at no cost to you, and a Gift Card for the quoted price won't be issued.

If you chose a lower condition (e.g. Good) for your item and upon inspection we consider it to be in a better condition (e.g. Like New), you'll be paid the corresponding higher amount. If you chose a lower condition (e.g. Good) for your item and upon inspection we consider it to be in a better condition (e.g. Like New), you'll be paid the corresponding higher amount. By selecting a return option when submitting your trade-in, you can also decide to receive your item back instead of being paid a lower amount.

If you haven't received your Amazon.co.uk Gift Card (or received your returned item, if rejected) within 30 days after you submitted your item, please contact us.

Your gift card payment will be automatically added to the available balance on your account.
