Download Your Music to Your Mobile Device

You can download your music to your device to listen to it without a Wi-Fi connection.

To download your music:

Go to the Amazon Music app and find the music you want to download.
Choose one of the following:
- Android devices: For songs and albums, press and hold the title you want to download, and then tap Download from the menu. For playlists, tap the playlist you want to download, and then tap the Download icon.
- iOS devices: For albums and playlists, tap the title you want to download, and then tap the Download icon. For songs, tap the three vertically stacked dots next to the song, or on the Now Playing screen, and then tap Download.

Note:

To automatically download all Amazon Digital Music purchases to your Android or iOS device after purchase, tap Menu, Settings, and then tap the checkbox next to Automatic downloads.
Some record companies require us to insert identifiers in the metadata that accompanies music when you download it from the Digital Music Store or your music library. For more information, go to About Record Company Required Metadata.
