Was concerned the backpack would not fit my staffie but it fitted perfectly and Monty loves it. I have loaded both bags equally with water bottles, dog treats, poo bags, mini first aid kit and while I slowly cycle he follows. The backpack fits snuggly on his shoulders/back and under his belly. Big smile on his face and a tired dog after our ride zzzzzzz.

It's a very lovely shape, the material is durable and the blue is nice and bright. The pockets are huge which is really nice, and it's pretty simple to strap it all up. Once it's strapped and tightened or loosened to your dog's measurements then it's very snug and should stay put for the entire walk.
The top piece (the bags, etc.) is also removable via velcro so you can take off the bags without having to unclip the harness which is very handy if you want to take things out of the backpack or refill it with no fuss.

Bought this to push our husky puppy a little harder. It arrived on time and the product is great value for money, no need to spend more on the more expensive ones really.

My 12.5kg springer cross wears this without a bother whenever we can't get a good long walk, she carries about 1.2 kg on a shorter 3 km walk & it leaves her as tired as if we'd done a good 5 km or more. The only downside is it goes on over the head - a front fastener would be more convenient& the strap ends kept coming out of the holder & brushing the ground so need careful tucking in.

I have this for my young St.Bernard, we put doggy and human treats/drinks in it and off we go! Fits well and my dog is really happy wearing it.
You have to make sure you balance both sides otherwise you get slippage, but once I mastered the art of that it was fine, not rubbing or marks on the dog even after a long walk.

Great fun my dog does a buckaroo jumps up and down trying to throw it off. My dog is a trained guard dog a working dog that I treat as a domestic dog because we become friends.
It is an English Bulldog cross with a Bullmastiff which creates a solid massive protective totally loyal powerful clever dog. All the bull breeds come from the English Bulldog. There is no such thing as an "American Bulldog" or an "American pitbull" they the U.S. have no native dogs. I have bred dogs all my life. "An American pitbull Staffordshire as they call them is a breed from Staffordshire England. Anyway my dog as got used to it and can now carry its own equipment when we go hiking. [...] Good purchase. |
