Rent or Own?
For most movies, you'll see two prices: rent or buy (own).

Rentals start at £0.99. If you rent, you'll have 30 days from when you rent to start watching, and once you start watching, most movies have a 48-hour window to finish watching. Once the rental is over, the movie will automatically disappear from Your Video Library.

Buying a movie or TV show means you can watch it as many times as you want, now or later.

You can also sign up for a Prime Instant Video subscription, which gives you unlimited streaming of over 15,000 movies and TV episodes, at no extra cost.

Stream or Download?
Stream or Download?
Streaming a title is instant - but you have to be connected to the internet to do it. You can stream on Kindle Fire HD and all the compatible devices, consoles and TVs mentioned above, as well as on a Web browser on your PC, laptop or Mac. Prime Instant Video titles are only available for streaming, and cannot be downloaded.

Downloading is available on your Kindle Fire, iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch. Once you have downloaded a movie or TV show to one of these mobile devices, you can watch it later even if an internet connection is not available.
