PetSafe Anti-Bark Spray Collar - Citronella

I'll admit it, I was very skeptical about buying this - I thought there was a very good chance that I was wasting £40.

I had read the reviews on here, there were a couple of people commenting that it hadn't worked with their Jack Russells, and that concerned me - we have two collies and one Jack Russell.

The problem was that the two younger dogs were very 'yappy' - if my wife left the house in the morning, the dogs would bark and yap until I had to get out of bed and shout at them. I'd go back to bed, and a minute later they were at it again.

I'd arrive home, pull up on the drive and they would start barking - it was getting beyond a joke.

So, I bought one of these, filled it up, put it around the terrier's neck and waited....

I was at work most of the following day, when I came home there was silence - I spoke to my wife who says that she swapped the collar onto the young Collie when she came home from work (it recommends that they don't wear it for more than eight hours at a time), and we haven't heard a peep out of them since!

I have to say that I am amazed - I really didn't think this would work, but it has - 100%. Sure, the dogs still play up, are still a little manic, but they don't bark any more, which means I no longer get dirty looks from the neighbours.

I'm impressed, really impressed, and would now recommend this collar to anyone who has a barking dog problem.

I had my doubts that this Anti-Bark spray collar would work, but we were desperate to try anything. I read all the product info and it sounded good, but would it really work. Having moved to new property with a large garden our Westie ran around barking at anything that moved, and annoyed the new neighbours.
To our surprise she had no objections to having the collar put on, so that bit was easy. I watched her from the kitchen window on her first trip out with the collar in place. She barked and the first spray went off. 'Whah! Where did that come from' I imagined her saying, it was quiet funny to watch, as she looked around to see where the spray came from. It didn't take her long to associate the spray with the bark.
We now have total silence as she runs around playing happily in the garden. The neighbours are pleased too. For me, it's been money well spent.

After having several complaints from our neighbours we were recommended this type of coller. The best £50 we've ever spent! It worked straight away and has subsequently improved our neighbourly relations! Highly recommended.

I have a minature daschund puppy who was driving me and the neighbours nuts with her non stop barking!!! Within 24 hrs she is like a different dog.

The collar worked instantly and stopped the early morning alarm bark, now all I have to sort out is the scratching at the door.!!!!!!!!!!!!

an absolute must if you have a dog that constantly barks.Did not think this would work but as soon as i used it have not heard him unless i take it off.

Fantastic at last we can go out without the dog barking all the time. We have tried everything else but nothing worked. As soon as the collar goes on he knows not to bark. Would certainly recommend it.

My 6 year old Doberman, Simba, has been a military phenomenon. For the last 5 years he as been on permanent ground control barking at any squirrel or other animal that dares to enter our garden, and enforcing a no fly zone against pigeons and birds that Obama would be proud of.

Sadly the noise that Simba's defence skills generate is LOUD and I mean LOUD. Nothing has stopped his continual barking and the exhausted neighbours have considered joining a line of refugees leaving our street.

So, with no real confidence I bought the spray collar. Fitting was simple and Simba was duly despatched into battle. It was UNBELIEVABLE. He dashed across the garden barked once - and stopped. And that was that. Silence. Peace. Once a day he barks once, realises his mistake and goes into silent mode. Now, a week later I am sitting with the back door open, Simba running around and not a single bark. Peace has descended.

Are the squirrels and birds safe, no, not at all. In fact their lives have become more perilous from the new, super quiet, stealth attach unit that Simba has become. A Ninja Doberman is a wonderful sight to behold!!

All i can say about this product is WOW. Within the first 5 minutes of putting the collar the barking almost stopped after the first two sprays. After 24 Hours my dog is completely bark free (Except the odd grunt). Well reccommended.

Very good and has reduced the barking to single. Collar was a waist of time as the dogs had them off in 5 mins. So I used proper collars and it has worked very well.
