With autumn drawing in and plenty of wet days ahead I know that my 7 month old labrador pup is no doubt going to get very wet and very dirty. As we often go in the car to get to her walking place I thought this would be an ideal item to pop on her before she gets back into the car and hopefully she will be almost dry by the time we get home.
She isn't fully grown yet but she is still a large dog so I went for the large size bathrobe. It fits her fine and covers her back easily. However, I think if I were to order it again I would look to see if there was an XL size just so I could use it to rub under her belly as well.
The fabric feels like the microfibre cloths that you can buy to clean your kitchen or windows rather than a traditional thick towel. However, don't be put off by that as it is very absorbent and has the bonus of not being too heavy on the dog so it is less likely to bother them.
It is easy to wash and quick to dry afterwards. I haven't risked putting it in the tumble dryer because of the plastic toggles on the neck, I wasn't sure if the heat from the dryer would damage them.

I bought two of these in size medium for my two westies. After a bath I towel dry them and then they put on their bathrobes which dries them thoroughly. My older westie who is nearly 15 yrs, loves wearing it, she walks around in it so serenely. Both westies seem to like the robes as it stops their body temp from cooling, it keeps them warm and dry. When the robe feels damp all over it is time to take them off and you will have an almost dry, warm dog underneath.

I have got four dogs - 2 labs and 2 spaniels who go swimming most days. When we get back they are happy to flop in their bathrobes and after 15 minutes or so the dogs are virtually dry. The robes wash well and dry quickly. A very good buy and has made my life easier!

This is an excellent product. My labrador has hydrotherapy treatment and after a quick dry with a towel ( he's still pretty wet! ) I put on his robe and within half an hour he is almost completely dry. Don't buy the more expensive bathrobes, this one is brill
