Why is Amazon so slow in updating versions of apps? This is 3.2.9.113 and Google Play is on 3.2.12.119 with Chromecast support.

Love the fact my two sons can access my media library from their tablets. Despite missing parental controls, limiting them access to folders that contain their media works fine. Just waiting for the "sync" feature to come available for Non plex-pass members. I would pay for this on top of the app price.

Bought Minion Rush app which gave me 150 Amazon points & used 50 points to buy Plex which was discounted to 59p for a day.
Plex allows me to cast my own movies via Chromecast to my tv . If you have a Chromecast dongle I would def recommend Plex as it greatly opens up casting options.

Have set a plex media server up on a NAS and use Plex to stream to multiple media units throughout the house.
Plex for Android working seamlessly with the server. To be honest, it runs smoother than the roku box. Great price, a bargain, and one I shan't regret. Going to buy a lifetimes plex pass, just to support the developers. Brilliant bit of software. |
