Timbuk2 Spark Messenger Sling for Kindle eReaders and Kindle Fire Tablets, Night Blue/ Violet

perfect for carrying my ipad ,kindle and everything else i need when out and about and need my tech fix for the day

I found this bag so practical and most of all very comfortable to wear. Even on days when i'm not carrying my kindle I use it as my bag. Although the strap tends to be on the short side, it fits very comfortably. The velcro used is very tough, making it also very safe. I love the handle strap, especially when getting out of the car - makes it so much easier to grab and go. If they weren't on the expensive side i would definitely purchase another. So far I would say, money well spent.

I was looking for a small bag to sling over my shoulder that had a little bit of room but not loads.

I could not find any information about this bag anywhere but on Amazons Website. It is not even listed on the Timbuk2.com site. Well I took the plunge and went for it.

Let me tell you I could not have been happier. As it happens the bag is almost the same as the Catapult Cycling Messenger that is on Timbuk2.com and you can find some reviews on youtube etc.

The few changes are the buckle is an adjustable one rather than the new style of adjust and set clip release and there is not a zipped pocket inside the front zipped pocket as you find on the newer model.

It is a great small bag.

it has a padded and lined pocket divided in 2 within the zipped pocket at the front. One is the size of a mobile phone i.e.. iPhone 5. the other is large enough to take a kindle.

in the main compartment there is another lined padded pouch able to take an iPad (although not in a bulky case).

Could not be happier great buy and well made with an additional cross strap if you feel that you need it. I hope you find this useful.

I have 2 of these. I chose the green one because I love the look of it, while my partner has the black one. Both are used at least 5 days a week.

I have a Fire HD 8.9 and my partner has a Touch. The bag holds either very securely, but not too tight to get out easily. There's extra room in there for other items as well.

It's easy to put on and very comfortable to wear. I wouldn't bother with the secondary strap that's included, as the main strap is plenty secure.

I would highly recommend this to anyone.

This bag would be great if it weren't for the fact that when you open the bag the contents can easily spill out. This I think is because the bag is very shallow and long. Your Kindle and the inner part of the bag which is secured by a zip and velcro will be safe enough but having used this bag a few times now its not the first time the other contents have fallen out including my phone which was undamaged but could have been! Tough and strong material as are the inner lining. The strap great and comfortable to carry. Shame about the design.

Firstly this is a very strong well made lightweight bag and at a good price, my only complaint is that the strap is very short and it can only be worn across the chest or back. The description does say it can be worn as a sling but perhaps should say it can ONLY be worn as a sling. For cyclists etc this will be an excellent bag to keep things close to your body. If however you are after a bag to rest on your hip with the strap across your should than this is not for you.

This is a good product. My rating is lower than it might be because I am fairly small and short, and this is more suitable and would be more comfortable for a person with a larger frame than mine.
