This is the story of the last North Pole penguin, who as it turned out was also the smallest - Penguin Small - and his adventures as he struggled to follow the other penguins south.

Great book, lovely story but the only down side is the giant fold out page.... it’s a great idea but it’s poorly executed so it’s hard to unfold and fold away while reading and tears at the creases easily.

This book was one of my own children’s favourites. I was so pleased to be able to find a new copy for my granddaughter

I bought this for my reception class to complete a unit of work. It is a lovely story about a penguin who is scared of the water but has to leave the North Pole to escape the polar bears, so travels on an iceberg with only his snowman friend for company. Lovely illustrations too.

This is a lovely book for the 3-6 age group. My class found it strange at first, as they've learnt through our polar regions topic that penguins live in the south pole, not the north, but it provided a nice talking point and helped their understanding of the difference between 'fiction' and non-fiction texts.
