In My Own Words:
I live in a house on a hill with two little people and one foreign one. I hate old peoples houses, tutting, noisy people in the cinema, chewing gum, false laughs, Blokes-who-try-to-show-their-masculinity-by-noisily-flicking-through-papers. I love stories (on paper or screen), music, editing, making my brain go bendy and reading bad reviews (especially those written by pretentious fools who are so … Read more

Tacwise 181ELS Electric Nail Gun by Tacwise
5.0 out of 5 stars Lethal Weapon, 27 Mar 2014
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
My first introduction to nail guns was in Lethal Weapon 2, and I've wanted one ever since. Sadly as I gradually age my reasoning for owning a nail gun has changed. I no longer want one to shoot bad guys, I now want one to prevent me losing my sanity....as almost happened when banging in several hundred nails necessary to build my kids wooden playhouse. A nail gun should be a staple (sorry) for even the most lazy DIY 'enthusiast', and this is a perfect place to start. It comes housed in a sturdy plastic carry case and makes short work of all but the most heavy tasks. The nails are fairly cheap too. If I had one minor niggle it's that the cable is a little too short. Highly recommended.
Tefal A1990022 12 cm Ideal One Egg Wonder by Groupe SEB UK Ltd
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This really is one tiny frying pan (it's smaller than you can imagine) and actually too small even for a single egg, I found that it struggled to cook anything but a very small one and even then it's minuscule dimensions meant that it was hard to avoid rubbery results. All is not lost though, this IS a perfect utensil for a single burger, especially as it's non stickiness gives great results. Do you need a tiny frying pan for one burger though? Probably not.

An iron without a cable! I mean, I realise it's not exactly a cure for cancer but it's definitely a solution to a minor pain in life, namely tangled cables and inconvenient plug sockets.
The problem here is that this iron is fatally flawed; it cannot be stood vertically on its own....which means you need to have the base with it at all times. And more often than not you'll need the thing plugged in because the charge doesn't last long. therefore the problem is only partially solved. On top of that the open backed handle is too short and doesn't have enough grip so it feels like it's going to slip out of your hand.
Overall this is a quality item though and irons really well, it's… Read more
