This package contains four Floss Action replacement toothbrush heads with micro-pulse bristles that penetrate deep between teeth for a floss-like clean and maximum freshness. They remove twice as much plaque as an ordinary manual toothbrush and come with dentist recommended oscillate and rotate technology for maximum cleaning. These brush heads are interchangeable with all Oral-B handles (excluding Pulsonic/Sonic).

Brushing Advice
Dentists recommend that you change your brush head every three months to make sure your teeth receive the most hygienic and thorough cleaning. Here are a few other tips to keep in mind:
1. Applying Toothpaste
After applying toothpaste to the brush head, only switch on the toothbrush when you are holding it against your teeth, to prevent the toothpaste from spraying.
2. Chewing Surfaces
Clean the chewing surfaces of your teeth slowly, taking a few seconds for each tooth. Apply the bristles lightly, letting the brush do most of the work.
3. Outside Surfaces
When you are cleaning the outside surfaces of your teeth, apply the brush horizontally and move it slowly along the gum line, staying on each tooth for a few seconds.
4. Inner Surfaces
To properly clean the inner surfaces of your teeth, move the brush slowly from tooth to tooth. Stay on the lower incisors for a little longer, where scale often forms.

I did a head to head test (pun intended) of the floss action brush head against the traditional Oral-B head.
The difference between the two heads is that the floss action one is slightly larger, and has yellow rubbery cleaning elements as well as the usual bristle.
After each test I flossed to see how much the brushes had left behind.
Now, a single test of each head is pretty unscientific. A statistician would want dozens of tests before drawing a conclusion, but one is enough for me.
And the result? Floss action really works - it gets right in there and hauls out more plaque and almond fragments than the standard bristle head.
For me, that makes it worth the extra cost.

Electric toothbrushes clean your teeth better than a normal toothbrush anyway but these are even better. I recommend that anyone who needs replacement heads for their rechargeable toothbrush try some of these!!

It is difficult to give an opinion about the effectiveness of tooth brushes. But the fact is that you would have to brush by hand a very long time if you wanted to give your teeth the same working - over as the electric tooth brushes do. I've been using electric brushes for about three years now and my teeth are definitely in better shape.
These floss action brush heads feel different, they massage the gums better and they get between the teeth.
I give them a thumbs up, it is not just a gimmick, there is a marked difference to the ordinary brush heads.

I got these brush heads to trial through the Amazon Vine project - they claim to have a flossing "action" so I was keen to see what that meant in reality - I always forget to floss and these heads seem like a good idea.
The flossing action is a good idea in principal but it does not go any way towards replacing flossing - I don't think any toothbrush head could claim that. There are small rubber blades that are designed to get in between the teeth better than brushes do - but I saw no evidence that this was happening.
I suffer from a mild case of sensitive teeth, and the floss action heads were far too aggressive for me. I would steer well clear if you also have sensitive teeth or receding gums. The action is very heavy and my teeth did not feel any better or cleaner for it.
All in all I would summarise that these heads are a bit of a gimmick, if you want a deep clean then get the dual action ones, and if you have sensitive teeth then the sensitive or precision brush heads are a better choice.

I bought these to put on a standard Braun Oral-B electric handle which had previously been using their original simple round brush-heads, and they fit perfectly.
The design is very similar to that of the original standard round head apart from the addition of their "floss action" components which are simply flat wedges of plastic that are clearly designed to get right in between your teeth. I absolutely hate flossing (I can't actually physically fit floss or even tape between most of my teeth), so I figured these brush-heads would be the next best thing.
On first use I got the distinctive taste in my mouth I get upon attempting to floss with tape, and a minor amount of gum-bleeding, indicating that these brush-heads really do work like they say they do. Subsequent brushings have not produced the same effect, which I can only put down to the fact that the "floss action" is now so regular that my gums are used to it and the bacteria aren't building up between my teeth. It took a long time to persuade me to shell out on an electric brush. I bought Oral B as they are German and a market leader. The brushes are pricey in the supermarket and therefore a deffo Internet purchase. I have tried the precision version as they are a bit cheaper. They are not as good so it's floss action for me. You save the extra brush cost on not paying for dental care.
