Kurio 10 Android Tablet for Kids

The tablet's only mistake is to not use the Google license for the Playstore.

For the rest this is a very usefull tablet with convenient time keeping so you do not need to chase the children when the time is up. Could have used a better chipset but the tablet does the work. Therefore we as a family like it!

I recently purchased a Kurio 10 after seeing my nieces playing on the Kurio 7. This is designed for children but infact is just as good for adults and great for facebook and shopping! it is the same size as an ipad. My kids love it as it came ready with their favourite apps - angry birds, cut the rope, fruit ninja etc.

The only disadvantages is that the Kurio 10 does not support Google Play, I got on too Kurio about Google Play, and they said it will be supported in the future - still we got Amazon app store which is fully supported and has most of the apps Google Play does anyway.

I bought this for my 7 year old to stop him using my iPad. It's very similar to the iPad with the way it looks and performs but was much easier to set up. There were loads of pre-loaded apps too which was great and the parental controls came in really handy. Would definitely recommend it over the iPad for younger children due to the parental controls. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. A great buy.

It is his favourite console game.
He playes non stop already more than 3 month.

This tablet was sent to my grandson in Norway and does not charge properly. Should I ask them to return or is there an easy solution?

Bought this for my 7yr old as his 2 friends got one each for Christmas.Theirs was loaded with over 70 games, fast and child friendly. Thought great. The tablet itself is fine but only has 6 games preloaded so very dissapoited there. Wish had kown about it at Christmas when Argos was selling for same price like I say with loads more game sand also the cover wlhich I cant find anywhere for 10inc. Arrived fast though.

Ordered this for my son's eighth birthday and within three minutes of him opening it, it crashed and froze. Also the power button was really wobbly and was on the verge of falling out. Amazon arranged to have it collected the following day which it was. I have been told three times that a full refund has gone into my account and it hasn't. Got a very disappointed eight year old as can't buy him a different tablet until money has been refunded.

got it last christmas had it 3 weeks messed up battery problem got a new one in the end after waitign another 3 weeks had the new one 2 months same problem got another new one same problemin october when i phones them up they told me they know the system has a problem with the charging and battery so why dont they sort it in the end i got my money back and would never recommend to anyone not even if they were on sale for 20 quid

We bought this for our 2 year (25 month) old for Christmas as she absolutely loves her Mum's iPad (4), so much so, it was difficult getting it off her to use ourselves, so we thought we would get her a more 'child friendly' childs tablet & chose this. She wanted to play with it as soon as she opened it, but after playing a while, she quickly got annoyed with it as it isn't as simple to use as the iPad. The screen resolution isn't fantastic & The touch aspect is a little slow. I think this tablet would be better suited to a slightly older child & who hasn't experienced an iPad before.
The tablet itself is quite easy to use & it has a good quality screen & is well worth the money, but i wouldn't recommend it as a replacement for an iPad or it will just end up sat on the shelf, like our little one's is... :(
