Garmin nuvi 2418 LT-D UK 4.3 Inch Sat Nav with UK and Ireland Maps, Bluetooth for Handsfree Calling and Lifetime Digital Traffic Alerts

I can't praise this sat nav enough. It has got me through a couple of long and pretty tricky journeys now, and has done so in a non complicated, non stressful and easy way.

The directions given are very clear and concise. The way in which the screen displays which lane to take is excellent. It is really clear and even I can't get confused! The voice option I am using is not irritating, which I have found on other devices. If a wrong turn is taken, the machine creates a new route automatically, and almost instantly. So far, the device has not told me to drive the wrong way down one way streets or anything daft and it has coped well with directing me round diversions and bypassing accidents on the motorway etc. the estimated time remaining on journeys is very accurate.

I purchased the garmin sat nav for two reasons. Firstly, I had been using sat navy's from another well known brand but they always seemed to stop working after a couple of years. Secondly, I use garmin gps devices in sport and have always found them to be unfailingly excellent. This sat nav doesn't let you down. It does everything you could possibly hope it would do both reliably and without difficulty.
