5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent book - must have for KS2 children
So far I have found this to be a really useful book, helping my daughter (10) with her maths homework. She won't listen to me, but she'll look in the book! It is colourful and explains things very clearly. My sister-in-law has now bought one too and found it so much better than her son's maths text book!
Also great for supporting parents by explaining long since...

I absolutely love this book. I have been using it to help my son with his maths and it is great. It saves so much time searching around the internet for explanations for KS2 Maths. I have ordered the next one for when he starts secondary school. Three of my friends were so impressed when I showed it to them that they have ordered one too! Well done Usborne for making such a great maths book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Get this for your primary school aged child- and help yourself with homework too!, 6 Sep 2010
This has everything you will need in junior school to help your child with homework!
If youve ever looked nd thought "This isnt what I remember at school" you arent losing your marbles, they just work things out differently these days thats all. Even if you werent great at school or didnt 'get' maths at all this can help you explain things to your child and learn along side them if necessary. dip in and out, its not complicated ( and I HATED maths at school and I struggled alot)
This explains what is 'trendy' at traditional all in one book... in a way you and your child can grasp easily.
INexpensive and accurate, pleasingly detailed and illustrated its great for parents and children to use, either together or alone as an invaluable reference guide. We have the senior maths one and Im adding to them with the science ones too.!!!

I bought this product as a primary school teacher and it is wonderful. It is good for use from a subject knowledge point of view and to use with the children. It clearly and visually explains all mathematical concepts in an accessible manner.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great reference book, 25 Oct 2011
Perfect for my daughters needs, reinforcing what is taught in her junior school - nice to be able to pick up a book that helps explain things that she may not have grasped very well, given that maths is not my strong point, great price compared to local book shops - a must for the bookcase!
