Get Talking Swedish in Ten Days

Get Talking Swedish in 10 days does exactly what it states on the cover. Perfect for if you're visiting Sweden on holiday and would like to know the phrases you'd need to use in that situation. It's also good to start you off if you intend to learn the full language, like I am doing. However, in that case I would recommend buying a full course straight away to save you from spending unnecessary money.

This is a good course. I speak a lot of languages but Swedish takes some getting used to.
It comes as a CD ROM so if you want to use it in a car you need to convert it and you need to make sure the order remains the same or it will be out of order when you try and learn the words and sentences.
In addition the 'book' is 12 by 18 cm and only 10 pages without cover.

I am definitely learning Swedish this way but 10 days is way too optimistic.

Regina's voice/pronunciation of the English is also very sharp at times which hurts your ears especially if you suffer from tinnitus as my boyfriend does.

Nevertheless by playing the CD and repeating the sentences I was able to use some Swedish during my holidays and form a basis for more advanced courses.
