Mail Plus (Kindle Tablet Edition)

This application never downloads. I want to cancel it and finding that impossible too! Really found it a huge disappointment

Have had to reinstall this application four times now and still it is not good. Will not download all the paper at once, and many times, even though it says it has downloaded not all the items have, so have to download again. When I try to Sync it often tells me I do not have a valid subscription. Last week it did not download the front page at all, an for Coffee Time Plus this is a nightmare, sometimes when it has supposed to have downloaded, on trying to open an item it says loading but just hangs and often freezes the screen.
I am really surprised at the performance for a kindle item/app as I have no trouble at all with my Knidle (for reading books).
The application for the iPad is bar far much superior, and this lets you choose what you want to download but on the kindle app, it has to be all or nothing and more often than not it is only half the paper!
Very displeased.

Don't expect auto download and you won't be too disappointed. This should really have been sorted before putting out. Come on mail you are not slow in criticizing others. Get your house in order or stop charging for inferior product.

Update as at 8 Nov. This is probably the most inconsistent app I have ever used. It does what the Mail says on average half the time, at most. It deserves only 1 star and they really should sort it out before selling more. If a politician promised and did not deliver they would be on like a ton of bricks!!!! ( I am not a politician! or related in any way).

We have been using this app for about 2 months now. When we first started using it, the daily downloads occasionally stuttered but generally everything downloaded OK after a couple of go's.
Now, the mental games section (Coffee Break Plus) which is one of the attractions of the Daily Mail Plus system, fails to download at least half the time if not more. It can take up to 6 attempts to download the news each day.
I have therefore revised my review to advise caution if choosing this.
I have cancelled my auto-renewal and contacted Mail Plus. If they don't sort out this app in the next couple of weeks, I am going to call it a day. The online version of the Mail is free and gives you most things you want.
Frankly the Amazon Metro and Evening Standard apps are far more reliable and completely free

As we were going abroad on holiday, yipee newspaper on the same day. Downloaded it okay. Next day had not automatically downloaded as advertised. Downloaded it but disappointed unique number was not shown.

This app is not a freebie, you are asked for your credit card details therefore I am not interested. I have already been stung downloading supposedly "free" apps on the Kindle and I won't let it happen again.

I chose this rating because I am fed up of SO CALLED Free Apps/Games that then require a purchase.
I would NOT reccomend this or any other App/Game that cins people into thinking they are free!!!

Very difficult to navigate on a 7 inch screen. Not worth the money and it's made almost impossible to cancel.

I have read the paper version of the Daily Mail for many years. I then read it on line when I bought a Kindle reader. Now I have a Kindle Fire this is definitely the way to read newspaper. The pictures are really vibrant and there are extra features every day
