I bought this stylus for my 3 and 5 year old children to use in conjunction with one of the many learning letters apps on the ipad. i was really impressed by how it interfaced with the screen and gave perfect results with very little pressure, i have no screen protector on my ipad. The pencil is not comically large as i thought it might be, it is actually about the same size as the large pencils used in schools to help writing and with the proper grip. So it really ticks all the boxes for helping with the kids and is a massive improvement on using a finger.

Ps. it also works on my (non-glass) galaxy s3 screen, again without protector

Very useful piece of kit which I carry it in my bag with my phone. It enables me to key in text more accurately than using a fingertip and cuts down on incorrectly hitting the wrong key/typos. It is made of quite chunky rubber material so I find it easy to hold too.

I purchased this product as a replacement stylus for my iPad 2. Straight out of the wrapper and I could see the poor craftsmanship in the product. The tip looks like it was molded from two half spheres and glued together which creates a seam straight down the middle of it. That wouldn't be so bad but there is excess rubber coming from the seam so it doesn't have a smooth round finish at all. I could make my peace with the cosmetic issue of the seam if that was the only problem.

The biggest and most unfortunate issue I have with this "stylus" is that it barely works. The rubber itself is not very responsive so you have to use a lot of force (unlike every other stylus I've ever used). You have to press VERY hard for this one to register and after only a few minutes of using it, my iPad had black scuff marks across the screen. The red and black "wooden" section was sticky to the touch as well.

I do not recommend this product at all. I am very disappointed especially considering the price. I just wish this was also a regular pencil, at least I would have gotten more use out of it!!

I am writing this review with my OLD stylus as the cool looking pencil one went straight into the bin.
