Criminal Minds - Season 1-8 Complete Box Set [DVD]

There are no words to describe my delight of getting all 8 seasons in one box, and so neatly organised.

Criminal Minds is not for the faint hearted, or the tender stomached. The human mind is a dark place and this programme delves into the deepest recesses of the human mind in search of answers for man's greatest depravities.

The characters are so easy to root for, you find yourself mourning the loss as some characters leave, but soon find yourself falling for new ones.

We have become a family obsessed with Criminal Minds, after accidentally coming across an episode. Between us we bought the box set. Every night is a Criminal Minds night. and we will watch them over and over again. Looking forward to the rest of series 9. This box set is well worth the purchase.

As it was brought during the xmas period the delivery was surprisingly quick. My friend is very happy with it so I'm overall happy with the buy.

A series i first encountered on Slovak television...... in Slovakian! Whilst unable to understand a word of what was going on, i still found this series extremely interesting. (It was the brilliant, chilling "Open Season" episode from late season two.) I subsequently watched the odd episode, upon my return to Portugal. This eight season box set is the perfect catch-up product, given the fabulous value-for-money which it offers. EIGHT seasons, or some 180 plus episodes, and many bonuses. (Also some episodes with a commentary track.) Once again...... do the math!

To date, i've got through to the end of the Mandy Patinkin years. These episodes were, invariably, of the highest quality. (I hope the Joe Mantegna years will be as worthwhile.) It certainly isn't easy viewing...... partly because of the gory crime scenes, but mainly because the stories have such a very dark backdrop. I would honestly advise against watching more than one episode at a sitting, for those of an impressionable disposition. They're simply too heavy.

Excellent stories, writing and acting, as the Behavioural Analysis Unit tackles a variety of cases which touch upon different aspects of human depravity and dysfunction. Mandy Patinkin (seasons one and two), as profiler Jason Gideon, and Thomas Gibson as team leader Aaron Hotchner, supply all the gravitas. Meanwhile, cute A. J. Cook and spiky Paget Brewster (replacing sexy Lola Glaudini) are pleasing cast members. Shemar Moore supplies the muscle and Matthew Gray Gubler the genius. Kirsten Vangsness, as kooky tech support Penelope Garcia, occasionally annoys me. But she is there to give some light relief to the impossibly dark events which unfold.

Everything I expected because I have reached up to season 4 and could not find the rest to watch now I can watch to season 8. I am very pleased it's the best TV series also quick delivery. Many Thanks

Best value purchase in dvd box sets.the storylines mostly have good continuity and are mainly believable with an acceptable level of drama.

Extraordinarily Machiavellian. It's always a pleasure to watch this series. Thanks to this box, we can see how the characters develop.

I managed to catch the first 4 seasons of this addictive show through an online video streaming service, but was left with a cliff hanger and couldn't bear it! I decided to treat myself and buy the complete series (though Season 9 has just finished airing in the US)- and I wasn't disappointed! There are some great extras, like the gag reels - it's nice to see another side to the actors who can at times be very serious on screen. The stories are great, they all say something about human nature and have often got me thinking about how, if pushed to the limit, anybody might be capable of such sad and desperate things! What's more, the acting is stellar, with a good mix of warmth and humour amongst the team to lighten what can be some grim and violent crime scenes. It doesn't take long before you start to feel like part of the BAU family. I thoroughly recommend the series to anyone who likes a good thriller or whodunnit and would like to experience it from a new perspective. It's fascinating to see why people do the things they do and how studying this can help prevent it further in the future.

This box set is brilliant, nothing has disappointed us so far. We have only viewed up to and including series 4 but we are totally hooked! Its a definate must have if you like this type of thing.

The characters are so well written and well played that it's impossible not to become fascinated by every aspect of their lives. This show works because you're hooked on the characters as much as the story lines, I love it.
