I was a little suprised when I first played this CV, I was expecting the original recording or recordings by professional singers, however the songs are all recorded by young children, in a school choir or band. The quality of the singing isn't that great, however my daughter (who is 2) absolutely loved the whole CD, and over the Christmas period it was the only thing she was interested in whenever we drove anywhere - needless to say it drove us up the wall all at times!
Overall this is a good CD, my daughter loved it, it made us feel christmasy, and it did the job we wanted it to. A happy shopper.

I bought this album to replace our children's favourite cassette of carols and Christmas songs, as our new car's audio system doesn't play cassettes. It's proved just as popular as the old album, with many of the old favourites, plus several new songs. You wouldn't expect professional quality singing from a choir of young children, but that makes it all the more charming and authentic. What could be more delightful than children singing Christmas songs and carols? This album aptly conveys the spirit of Christmas.

Excellent CD. you wont be dissapointed. Sang by children, its lovely and very gets you in the christmas mood. My Children loved this cd and it had the right amount of songs and all the songs that are ideal for children to listen to. Good quality.

Thank you to previous reviewers for highlighting how good this cd is! Lovely clear childrens' voices, great choice of songs. I have been playing it constantly for my 3 year old granddaughter and she can already sing along with many of the songs. It's wonderful value and I think it will be a Christmas favourite for a long time.

As a childminder I wanted some Christmas music that was actually sung by children. I was a little sceptical about what I would get for the money I paid, but to mine and my Little Stars delight a pre-Christmas dance and sing-a-long to the c.d went very well. I bought the CD to play in the car for my granddaughter. She is two and loves music. She soon got to know some of the songs well. A nice selection

This was bought for my 6 year old daughter. She loves it and I think has played it so often over christmas that we all know all the words!! Not too 'kiddy' that adults can't enjoy as well.

This is a CD of primary age children singing and as such was just what I wanted for my 3 year old. If you want something professional this isn't for you. There is a mixture of children's voices and an adult (too much of the adult frankly) and my little girl can relate to their singing which is not by any means perfect!

Terrible out of tune singing! I know it's endearing having children sing, but at least pick children who can sing. Almost unbearable!
