Same strengths and weaknesses as the WiFi version.Light, simple, secure. But grainy screen, some app incompatibility. This version adds 3G wireless. Not LTE but then again, in the UK it is an (overpriced) rarity. Is this worth another 70+ ? Honest answer is that the 3G radio does not cost 70 to implement. Whether it is worth 70+ to you depends on your needs, you can certainly get a MiFi for that ... more flexible but less convenient.

Yes it boots to chrome exceptionally fast and is completely silent when in use even if 6 tabs of the internet are open. The speakers get slated in many review as being low quality and very poor however I personally can't say they're at all bad. The google app store is limited but the apps work well. It is very thin (about the thickness of your thumb give or take). it is very light I think around 1.2 kilos but even if it weighs more it is still very light for a laptop/"chromebook". There is one headphone/microphone jack which isn't a problem unless two people want to watch a movie (on the laptop's small screen for some strange reason) but you can pick up a splitter for less than a pound nowadays. One 2.0 and one 3.0 USB port simply isn't enough if you do have lots of films then you'll need an external hard drive to free up the relatively small memory and if you want a mouse then I'm not too sure as to whether it can or cant't be done as I'm not too sure on what the difference is between a 2.0 port and a 3.0 port. The bad points are that it can't run skype which is a shame however google's alternative is ok if you have a gmail which you have to make one to setup the computer its just making sure your skype contacts get a gmail account which is hassle if you're not on a "chromebook". It doesn't support any microsoft software i.e. microsoft office which is a pain but google drive is an acceptable replacement with added extras that mean if you are on a different computer you can still access the files without having to save to save to a USB just log on via google's browser. All I'm saying is make sure this "chromebook" has everything you want in terms of software. In terms of speed its great in terms of software its limited with just acceptable alternatives.

Wow - this is amazing. Boots incredibly fast. Ideal and very slim machine for anyone who needs instant access (via WiFi or 3G) to the internet, Cloud and email. Add some USB ports and HDMI output - what more do you need?
