I don't think you can fault this at the price.
My new generation iPad fits well - though it isn't easy to adjust the volume, but manageable, especially if, like me, once set, you tend not to adjust the volume too often anyway.
The three viewing angles work well and the firm case provides a good platform to support the device on most surfaces, including your lap!
Build quality is acceptable at this price.
The cover protects the iPad well, keeping it clean and relatively scratch proof and is ideal for a bag or rucksack when out and about.
One small problem is that as supplied, the case covers the rear facing camera - which is why I have only appended 5 stars. Perhaps later versions will remedy this. In the meantime, I found it relatively easy to 'customise' the cover - i.e.: cut a small hole in the cover to 'open up' the camera lens.
Overall - good value and practical.

This is a good case in all fairness. The case is made from a hardened leather. It smell's like real leather to me and I can find no mention of it being faux leather, and in fact other basics case's which use faux leather state so. The inside is a nice velvet material which gives a nice finish.
I secured my iPad 2 inside using the four elastic bungee's in each corner. These are velcro'd down so you just pull them apart and slide the pad in. It has three viewing angles which work really well and the case itself is very solid so not only am I confident the case will protect the pad, it doesn't bow or anything and stays firmly in the position you choose.
When closed there is a flat elastic bungee band which holds the case firmly shut. Much like on my old Kindle with Keyboard leather cover and something that I wish Amazon would bring back to their latest Kindle covers.
When closed this reminds me of the little black notebooks you could get, similar to the moleskin ones.
Now my two niggles with this case are:
1. When the iPad 2 is secured in the elastic bungee's in the corner slightly obscure the sleep/standby button.
2. And this is linked to the first, there is no sleep sensor support. So closing the cover does not click the pad into standby like other covers. Thus you have to use the button which is slightly obscured by the corner strap.
I have to say these are annoyances and not deal breakers. This is a very solid and well built case. So I knocked one star off for the above niggles.

I don't have a Galaxy to test this with, so this review is based solely on the iPad 2.
The case is certainly well made, offering great protection for all sides of the iPad, and the elastic strap keeps it closed when not in use, offering maximum safety. The elastic straps that keep the iPad restrained inside the case are fairly easy to use, allowing the iPad to be freed with relative ease. These also allow maximum screen space, almost all of the iPad remains visible and none of the screen is covered. Other cases make using the front-facing webcam difficult, whereas there is no case surrounding the camera, ensuring perfect usage (note that the rear facing camera cannot be readily used with this case).
The case is durable although rather heavy, so it depends on the environment it will be used in. This is a good case for younger users around the house.
There are some hefty design flaws though. The elastic at the corners mask the power button, the volume controls and the mute toggle. They are all difficult to reach and are certainly an issue. If you rarely use the volume controls this poses no problem, however if you do then this case is not recommended as it becomes frustrating quite quickly. This may have no impact on the Galaxy - check other reviews if you are a Samsung owner.

This generic cover for 10" PC tablets is a smart looking accessory, the leather feels nice and the structure sturdy enough to serve as an adjustable stand and provide protection. There are 3 different viewing angles when using as a stand. The inside of the cover is lined with a dark grey felt like material. I doubt the lining would serve to clean and reduce static, but it still gives the cover a nice feel. I tried this with my iPad 2, and it was a superb fit, secured by four elastic bands at the corners. However with it being a generic cover for all sorts of tablet models, the lack of camera hole at the back did hinder the use of the iPad 2, especially as this is where the highest spec camera is located. My last real niggle is that the four elastic bands at the corners are lined with velcro. I'm not sure why they are, perhaps maybe for an adjustable fit, but I was concerned that the rough hooks on the velcro may come to scratch the tablet with time. The black leather does give an overall professional smart look, and to stop the front cover flapping about, there is a large elastic band which secures the front down. However given the lack of camera hole for the iPad and the scratchy velcro, it's not entirely perfect for the iPad 2, but may serve better for other tablet models.

You're thinking about purchasing this folio cover because you want to protect your tablet. You want it to remain free from scratches. Therefore the first thing you should take into consideration is how willing you are to trust plastic Velcro hooks against your iPad/Galaxy's bezel. This is what is used on the straps that will hold it in place. There are better alternatives to Velcro, especially when it means hard abrasive hooks meeting beloved Apple product. There aren't many worse. Actually, now I think about it, are they insane? The rest of the reviews on this page at the time of writing would suggest I am, or that I at least have some form of OCD (guilty!), but it's one step away from removing fingerprints with a Brillo pad.
The second thing to consider is how bothered you are by there being no hole for the iPad's rear camera lens. While it seems unfortunate from a design point of view, you should ask yourself how often you intend to use your iPad as a camera. Not all that often, I'm guessing. Never would be as good a guess, no doubt.
The adjustable stand isn't a total success either. It works, just not as intuitively as alternatives. In fact, as it only includes descriptions of three vertical standing positions in the official documentation, all of which are suited to video viewing rather than typing, I don't think they officially took the horizontal keyboard angle into consideration. You can find your own workarounds to have it at something approaching a decent typing position either by having the inside faux-suede cover laying on potentially dirty surfaces or having a chunk of the folio sticking out behind the tablet. Whether this was how it was intended, I have no idea.
Beyond that, both the leather interior and faux-suede exterior are attractive and well made.... Read more ›

Ipad Cover
The Ipad cover is essential for the Apple IPad and is very useful to stand the IPad up at various heights. Would have liked it to be supplied with a cleaning cloth.

Leather case rugged
