Hard to criticise. Organic, raw (ie unpasteurised which makes sure nutrients aren't killed off) almonds from Spain. Not sure why another reviewer thought they were bitter. They are sweet and wholesome - all you need to do is soak almonds overnight in water with a pinch of rock salt to improve flavour and digestibility. No complaints at all.

The almonds are very "flat" so as for quality i say these are not the best and also some are so dry that you dont want to eat them.

Being used to crunchy and sweet almonds, these were a little disappointing. They were a bit soft and their taste was a little bitter, with about 1 in 30 being really bitter. However, I can see on Wikipedia that the rare very bitter ones are to be expected.
I selected the Suma almonds because of their low amount of carbohydrate (yes, low carb diet and all that), which might explain the softness and bitterness. Unfortunately the almonds I love have three times the amount of carbohydrate, so until I find another alternative, I'll stick to the Suma ones.

I make my own almond milk for smoothies etc. I thought i'd give Suma organic almonds a try and I am so happy I did. I soaked them over night and they tasted beautiful and crunchy to eat and when I blended them I could for the first time taste the flavor of almond almost like an almond essence flovor in my milk. Love it love it love it. Will be buying again and again.

Most of these almonds in the bag were fine but I'd be happily munching away with a few in my mouth and would have to spit the lot out due to a very bitter one , my advice eat one at a time.
