5.0 out of 5 stars Watching You
Absolutely love this author. A real page turner which I read in 2 days. Great twist at the end. Another fantastic book would definitely recommend.

1.0 out of 5 stars Boring! so far . . .
Not in the same class as 'Shatter' and 'Say You're Sorry', these two novels had me gripped from the first page, this could have been written by a different author. I am struggling to get through the first couple of chapters put will persevere in the hope that Robotham picks up the pace and finds his previously brilliant style of writing again. So far, I don't really care...

Michael Robotham's forte is writing psychological crime thrillers. Watching You is another enthralling, gripping and compelling piece of novel. Without wasting time, the author sets the tone of the novel. We are introduced to a mysterious character known as Marnie. The atmosphere can be described as dark and sombre. Strange and unfortunate events are affecting her life. She becomes increasingly depressed and isolated. She seeks the help of top clinical psychologist Joe O'Loughlin, a familiar character in previous novels. The subject area of psychology is highly complex. It has been simplified throughout the novel. The author has done extensive research on the area. The subject matter helps us to gain a deep understanding of what triggers human behaviour. The matter becomes relevant in a police investigation. The novel kept me glued for the long periods, as my curiosity grows flipping every page. I found the novel absorbing and thrilling from start to end. Robotham continues to impress, with every novel he publishes.

Joe and Vincent do it again. A unique plot. People are being hurt and murdered around Marine, one if Joe`s patients. Is Marnie the killer or is she being stalked.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great read by a great author, 18 Aug 2013
This review is from: Watching You (Kindle Edition)
I have read nearly all of Michael Robotham books (all those with Joe O'Loughlin) and this is another great story. What makes these crime/thriller novels so interesting is the psychological view provided by Joe as he gets involved in the unravelling story. The perspective of the different key characters and the various twists and turns make the book very un-put-downable. If you like this authors books or you are fan of fast moving thrillers with realistic characters then this is a must read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Again., 13 Jan 2014
This review is from: Watching You (Kindle Edition)
Once again Michael Robotham has written a thriller that is hard to put down. I borrowed this book from the library due to the price being asked for it on Kindle. Strange to say I much prefer reading on my Kindle. The story moves fast with a few red herrings thrown in and is certainly a page turner. I have read most of Michael Robotham books and am now looking forward to the next one out in August 2014. Just get this book you will enjoy it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Classic Robotham, 30 Dec 2013

I started to read the stories about a Parkinson-suffering psychologist and a retired detective inspector in the middle of their joint timeline, but this did not spoil my reading at all. I have now read all of them, this is not the best - mainly because it is a little formulaic and the formula has been run a few too many times, so I am hoping for a slight departure the next time Mr Robotham publishes That said, this is a great read for all who enjoy slightly off-beat detective tales
