I bought the transparent back hard case with the grey Smart Cover. I was looking for a very slim transparent back case that I could use while at home. This case is exactly this. It was very easy to fix to the iPad, it is extremely slim but it still protects the back of the iPad from scratches. It has a smooth finish and it feels very nice to hold and it also is not slippery. When I'm out and about I will be using the Smart Cover on the top. The back case has very good precise cuts that allow access to all ports and buttons and it is designed to work with the Smart Cover.
The Smart Cover itself looks good and it works perfectly fine. The magnets are strong enough and it does the job perfectly well.
An added bonus was that if you buy the back cover and the smart case as a bundle you also get a transparent screen protector and a touch screen pen. My pen came in white to match the rest.
This company sells a few different variations of the iPad mini back and front covers and it is a bit unfair that all the reviews for all the different products come under the same page, even if they refer to different products. The other negative reviews seem to be for the back cover only and the fact that it has no cut out for the Smart Cover but I think this is stated clearly in the description of the appropriate item. They also do another back cover that they sell on its own that is designed to work with the Smart Cover, so I would suggest that you read the description of the items you're buying carefully, as it may be confusing.
I'm absolutely happy with my buy and I would happily recommend the products and the company itself. It was dispatched the next morning and was here 3 days later.

Looked nice and usable when I got it. But after a week or two the back cover had cracks in the corner. The front cover had weak magnets and scrached the ipad which now have some ugly marks.

Great colour and delivery was fast but I was disappointed for the item to arrive with sharp bits of metal protruding from the hinge side. After filing it down myself it still fits but unfortunately my ipad is already scratched. Shame because the fit and look is as displayed and I was looking forward to using this cover.

I purchased the iPad Mini case in pink polka dot in part because it was made of 'premium' leather! Unfortunately this product is NOT leather, as described, but plastic and it also has I strong rubbery plastic smell! It looks very similar to leather but I don't personally like the feel of the plastic to handle either! On the positive side, it looks great, is very well made (the stitching is immaculate) and I am pleased with the design of the product. I like the streamline design when it is closed by the magnetic cover, with no tabs or fasteners protruding.
So if you don't mind the fact that this is plastic and not leather you should be pleased with the product, however I am very disappointed at wasting my time and money being mislead with a product description!

Very disappointed with this cover. I will not be using it ! Very cheap and flimsy I will not even think of using this with my iPad mini as its obvious it would not protect it or even work as it is supposed to. It is NOT made of leather as advertised but a very lightweight type of plastic and It is a waste of money, I would not recommend anyone to buy this product.
