Having always owned a PS3 I decided to switch to an Xbox 360 to finally play with all of my mates online. I opted for the 4gb model but for and extra £20 I got FIFA 13 and a full year of Xbox live gold membership. I've used xbox's before and this is no different, the Xbox live works great and it justifies why there is an annual subscription to use its services with features like cross game chat and party chat and the ease of joining a game with a friend in seconds.

Anyone questioning whether it will produce graphics like a PS3 etc etc then the simple answer is yes, everything looks and runs just as good, sometimes better. My only gripes would be that there is no headset or HDMI cable in the box, the controllers need batteries unless you also buy a rechargeable battery pack and the 4gb model is pretty pointless. As soon as you consider downloading a game or installing one from its disc then you will need more memory and ultimately I have ended up upgrading the memory. But all this is a small price to pay to experience some new games you might not have played before and to play online with friends.

This is such good value, arrived on time in very, very good condition with all parts working + a free FIFA game.
People are reluctant to buy used items but unless you want to purchase a shiny box with an X Box logo for £180 (approx. £260 new price, with box + Microsoft / Xbox logo, I paid approx. £80 in a box with no logo) I would look at these types of purchases more often but with care to the rating hence my addition to these reviews today to help in anyone's decision.
Would use these guys again with pleasure.

I chose this rating for two reasons.
It is very good quality Xbox 360, however it had several profiles left on it that were not deleted and there were no available free profiles for Xbox Live left.
The price was a little steep for a 4gb, I wish I shopped around more, as I seen a 250gb for just over £100 along with two controllers and six games, kicked myself hard after seeing many deals that had better prices and more to offer. It's my fault I guess but it's still fairly disappointing.
Very well packaged, good quality product, more happy than disappointed.

Well I decided to take the plunge after my second Xbox360 thought it would be fun if it kept on restarting its self and the disk drive sounding like a plane taking off when switched on.
So I decided to purchase the TRIXES Black HDD Hard Disk Drive Case for xBox 360 Slim which proved to be very helpful on saving myself a fair bit of extra cash and was simple enough to take apart my old non slim hard drive to fit in nicely.
After inserting the old 250gb hard drive into the new 4GB console, I was off to a great start console soundless and works perfect.
A month or so down the line, the new slim-line 360 still holding out strong. Certainly has save me a shed load of money from either getting the 250 hard drive version of the console or going with the more reliable playstation 3 (from what I hear).

Brought this console because it was cheaper than a ps3, and I also chose the 4gb version to save money at the time.
Pretty quickly I realised I didnt have much memory to even download any free demos of xbox360 games from microsoft marketplace, and that there was no chance of me using the very usefull xbox360 "install game feature" (Install any game you have onto the Hardrive to reduce loading times of games and it also reduces noise of the xbox as it doesnt need to read the disc while playing)
I chose to buy a separate official hardrive in the end for about £65 at the time but it was well worth it for me, *I recommend the 250gb version of the console instead and 250gb is more than enough to last and even install loads of full games etc.
I would say this 4gb version would be for people who dont plan on downloading any demos, any extra downloadable content for games, installing games, or even any apps like youtube, only just to make game saves.

There are alot of Xbox360 games to date and I still enjoy buying games that came out awhile ago and adding to my collection, with Xbox you have to pay if you want to play games online by having an xbox live gold membership, So if you want to play multiplayer games online it isnt free (like on a Ps3) I think buying a yearly membership from an online retailer would be the cheapest way to go, about £30 a year approx when I last looked (You can still download free demos and downloadable content without a Gold membership which is still great) If you choose not to buy an xbox gold membership kids shouldn't be able to go on the internet or interact with other players online so could also be a bonus in that way.

I have a Wii and an Xbox360 and this console has far more better graphics and more games on it for adults, but still has lots of good games for kids. I have really enjoyed buying this console and with all the different games that have been released since it came out, it got me back into enjoying gaming again. Must have console unless you prefer to get a Sony ps3, but Xbox360 gets my vote! :) Hope my comments have helped

Got this xbox for the wife to keep her away from mine. The 4gb is ok for games played from the disc drive but if you need to instsll any games or game add-on's then get a larger hard drive although if you require more hard drive space you can buy internal drives from amazon for a reasonable price and they are easy to inset in the xbox ( read my other reviews for internal and external drives ). I found that constant playing from the disc drive was wearing my system down and there was a lot of ginding noise but then i play mine about six hours a day every day so it's alright for light use.
Did you know that in Mississippi USA...Outside burglar bars which are viewable from the street are not allowed.

Hammer... eben wie die Deutsche Version bloß mit dem Englischen Stecker (den man hier auch für 2-3€ bekommt)
habe bis jetzt (gut 1 Monat in besitz) nicht von irgendwelchen Maken gemerkt. Also ein echter Geheimtip für leute die nich so doof sind sich die deutsche (viel teurere Version) zu kaufen.
