For the price, you get a great deal. I am a semi-pro guitarist and thought I'd let my 7 year old taste the dream of being a rock'n'roll star by giving him this for Christmas.
The guitar feels nice and solid, good action, stays in tune (subject to the amount of abuse you give it) and I could twiddle around on it no problem despite it being a 3/4 size.
The amp is small, but has an Overdrive option on it, and when set correctly you can get a nice crunchy sound out of it, which isn't so loud as to totally upset my boys Mum.
He loves it, and he can't play anything yet...
It didn't come with plectrums or a spare set of strings, I'm not complaining, just warning you to get them as well if you buy it.
Very happy with this, as at this price is is well worth the money.

This arrived swiftly and in perfect condition. To be totally fair I haven't played it yet, it's a christmas present for my son. Just to let others buyers know the amp is TINY, no bigger than a packet of sugar. Not what I was expecting.

Perfectly good guitar as far as it goes -- but be aware that it is only the body that is 3/4 size - the neck is full length. A proper 3/4 guitar should be 33 inches in length and this is 37 inches. I bought it for my 6 year old and it is much too long for him (it is also too long to fit in a 3/4 size guitar bag, although that's less important) -- he has no problem when using the 3/4 size electric guitar at his teacher's. So this has been a total waste of money for me as I am having to buy another guitar.

I bought this for my 7 year old for christmas, although it is a little big he can still play it with no problems and at least it will last him, he is now taking lessons and the guitar comes with a information leaflet containing a list of guitar tutors which is handy, it also comes with an excellent amplifier. My only negative comment is that it does not come with a strap or pick but for the price i cannot really complain. The guitar itself looks nice, very well made and gives a good sound (when played properly). Would recommend this guitar but not for under 7yrs or even 7 year olds if on the small side, it was delivered very quickly within 3 days and was packaged well. I am very satisfied and would recommend this guitar to anyone.

I am no expert but read previous reviews before purchase and we have not been disappointed. The equipment all seems well made and the sound quality, once correctly tuned, isn't too bad at all! The mini amp is perfect - satifies our budding rock star without overpowering the rest of the household!

My son was over the moon with this guitar. Perfect for an 8 year old little boy as it comes with a small practice amp. He feels like a rock strar! You will still need to purchase a guitar strap and plectrums but otherwise cannot fault it.
