Kofi Annan's biography is a well-written and detailed account of his 40 years at the UN. It briefly deals with his rise through different agencies within the UN, but justifiably focuses upon his two term tenure as UN Secretary General where issues such as Darfur, Iraq, HIV/AIDS, East Timor and Kosovo stoked both admiration and disgust towards the work of the UN.

Though not dealt with in chronological order each crisis is discussed with clarity and includes details and thoughts, not only his own, but also of world leaders, that would not previously have been known to even the most avid reader of international affairs. Customer review from the Amazon Vine Programme (What's this?)
This is a cookbook from a man who, like his outings in the Great British Menu, allows the fish to be the main event. Each fish comes with lots of information about seasonality and, more importantly, allows you to pick several different combinations of sauces and accompaniments for each. Sourcing some of the fish may be problematic depending on where you live in the UK and the presentation is a bit fiddly and if I really was to criticise I would like to see more recipes for smoked fish given how ubiquitous smoked fish is across the UK compared to the likes of Witch and Sardines. However, there are recipes in here for all abilities and the list of ingredients is manageable.

I have yet to experience any leakage, though I agree with the other reviewers who have commented that if you close the lid tight enough this will not be a problem. Where I have experienced problems is with the tornado shaker itself and the cap. The shaker isn't a mesh like other shakers, such as the Met-RX, but rather a fan, which doesn't allow your powder to mix as easily with the water. I also have a problem with the cap. It is tight and at times difficult to open. Overall though, the storage at the base of the shaker is ideal for me, so even with the two issues, it is… Read more
