I don't know a child who doesn't love playing with Playdoh. On the other hand, I don't know an adult who relishes cleaning up afterwards! But childhood is all too short so I embrace the mess and enjoy making playdoh creations with my children.

The Sweet Shoppe Ice Cream apparatus was a huge hit in our house. It's perfect - colourful, fun, easy to use and gives their creative side free rein. It comes with the classic playdoh but also 3 pots of the new, smoother Playdoh plus compound which you use to make embellishments like sprinkles and toppings.

The only problem was trying to get them to let me make my own ice-creams!

In my opinion this is one of the best toys that my little girl has ever had. It looks great - soft and attractive. So it passes the cuddle test.

It is also highly interactive and I feel that the interactivity has been well thought out. Sometimes you get toys that seem to be educational, but the fine details hasn't been considered. I feel that in this case, there must have been investment in testing with parents and children because the link between reading the stories along with the puppy has been built into the experience rather than just an afterthought.

I enjoy having newly painted walls but up to now have hated the process of actually painting them. I hate the mess with a passion - cleaning the rollers and brushes and the inevitable spillage on the bit of flooring I haven't properly covered up.

This has all changed since we got the WallPerfect Paint Spraying System. It's been a revelation to me and I don't know why we've been struggling with brushes and rollers for so long. Once you get the knack of using it (which doesn't take long at all) this speeds through the job and the finish is smooth and professional. We have perfect walls now - no little drips or areas that are not as well covered as others.
