My wife was a vegetarian for many years and we still only eat meat two or three times a week,so she already had and loved several books by Rose Elliot and was really pleased to get this new one.It's nicely laid out with a contents list at the beginning for each section;starters,midweek meals,parties & special occasions,etc.,and then another list of contents at the beginning of each section,plus a comprehensive index at the back,so it's easy to find recipes.Not every recipe has a photo,but nearly all of them do and they're very good.Nothing fancy,just good close-ups that make the dishes look appetising and should help most cooks see what they're aiming for.As for the recipes themselves,well… Read more

This rotary dryer by Leifheit is impressively large,but worryingly lightweight,because I can't help but wonder whether a rotary dryer,which will spend all its time fixed in the ground,actually needs to be light.That aside,it appears to be well made and I assume it will be strong enough as it seems to have a similar construction to lightweight stepladders,although I shall be interested to see how it performs when loaded with wet washing on a windy day.I haven't been able to test that as yet,because it is recommended that it is set in cement and as it is so big (it's huge,twice the size of a rotary dryer we used to own)I really need to find the perfect spot in the garden.To achieve this you… Read more

This does a fantastic job and is well worth the money as it is far superior to cheaper models I have tried.The rubber blade is reverseable so you get twice the length of use from it and it can be adjusted for awkward to reach areas.We have a bungalow with casement windows with fanlights above so the 10 inch size is perfect.
