Another cracking adventure with Theo. Have really engaged with the characters and story.Shall definitely be encouraging my thirteen year old to read as although accessible to all ages I feel it really appeals to young readers.

I have really enjoyed John Grisham's foray into fiction for older children/young adults. Theodore Boone is as attractive a character as any of those gracing his adult books, and the stories surrounding him are intriguing and enjoyable.

In this one, developers are trying to build a bypass around the town. Naturally, there are advantages to this bypass, just as there are disadvantages but, in Theo's opinion, the disadvantages outweigh the good points. He and several of his friends rise up to support those that they perceive to be the victims; but will they win?

A quick, but nevertheless enjoyable, read.

I read one third of this book and was loathe to put it down. The style of writing is so different, and the age of "the lawyer". Can't wait for the next one to be published!

An amazing thriller by John Grisham. And for people who said he writes basic storylines they are wrong. This book is exciting from beginning to end and leaves cliffhangers all the way through which just wants to make you read on.
Recommended for 9+ but adults may find it easy.

Nice easy holiday book that can be appreciated by young and old. Bit of an abrupt ending though. Wonder if Theo will ever make it to the big screen?

It as usual from John Grisham is a very good story hard to put down, I am now waiting the next one

John Grtisham never fails to come up to scratch and this book is no exception. Fully deserves a five star rating.

I loved John Grisham. I love Teodore Boone. How many more adventure are waiting for us?

Just remember this is aimed at younger audience, it's a pleasant read but predictable and some of the plot was left without a conclusion (was justice served on the men who attacked Judge, they were out on bail pending appeal but nothing further).
I am a Grisham fan and I read this in one night. Would I have read it if I was not a fan? I'm not sure. It's interesting when a adult author writes teenage books, James Patterson did a great job of it with the maximum ride series.
I really enjoyed the racketeer (Grisham last adult book) and thought the rackteer was amazing and back to his old style of writing. The racketeer end surprised me, and I enjoyed the twist.

But the ending on the activist book was like it was a "deadline" ending, rushed to met a deadline and I guessed the ending before I was halfway through the book. I borrowed this book from the library, I'm glad I didn't buy it.
If you enjoy theodore Boone books this is as good as the other three, if you're an adult Grisham fan the adult books are much better (in my opinion).

All John Grisham books a great. All of the Theodore Boone books a great. Book arived in fast time and in great shape.
