Do not get caught by these free trial offers, despite telling you it's easy to cancel, it's not. They make it impossible. I used to buy this regularly but digital is not as good. But now I am so cross at getting caught out by their slick and deceitful trading methods, I shall read something else!

Having read all the one star reviews, I felt I'd to road test this app myself. It's clearly says "subscription may be required" below the "free app" link. The app is free, not the magazine and those negative reviews were clearly written by people who are confusing the difference between the free reading platform and a free magazine. Get a grip folks, and stop reviewing these apps if you don't understand what it is you are meant to be reviewing, in this case, the reading app, not the magazine's introductory offer. The app itself has great functionality.

As a regular reader of woman I was excited to see this edition advertised as free, however once you have clicked on the link you realise that there is a cost to be incurred.

Think I will stick to my paper copy in the future.

Downloaded & registered before I could find out the subscription price. Overpriced compared to physical magazine so app deleted. One star given as can't post review without a star rating.

I bought a subscription to Woman magazine for my Mum for her birthday. She loves her Kindle Fire and it's great that she can now read her favourite mag on it. A hit and I'm still No 1 son!

Good, but I don't seem to get much time to read it, the free trial was useful, not sure if I'll subscribe any more.

I have just got a new Kinle and downloaded Woman for going on holiday. It was great to read on the plane.

I have been to several other mag sites but decided I was of an age that I didn't have an interest in celebrity gossip. Thought that woman would be a good choice but was sorely disappointed. I couldn't get the enlarged text easily .and kept getting an irritating picture bar at the bottom of the screen. Amazon shop said each issue would be �1'49 yet the online mag shop was selling the mag for approx 50 p per issue for the year. I will be cancelling this Asap unless I realise it is user error!!!
