Ever since the silks youtube stopped working for ALL kindle users. I tried to find a backup for this with many of the different youtube apps but all are the same, they do let you sign in but then YOU CANT WATCH ANY VIDEOS and i mean how can you manage that on a youtube app. And another reason is that the app is littered with so many adds just promoting for you to buy the full version, which shouldnt be there to be honest as Youtube is FREE anyway.

This app is slow and clunky... now if only Amazon/Kindle would sort out the issue with Adobe then I could watch videos as I'd like to. Come on Kindle, get your finger out and fix this.

I don't know if it's only my version but I can only get it in landscape. It's good you can see all your subscribed channels and uploaded videos by them but I also couldn't get my play lists up. Another positive though is you can update very cheaply to download videos directly from channels etc so I'd say there is a positive for each negative. Good for a free app

Excellent app. I've had real problems using youtube with my Kindle but this app is brilliant, sign in with your google account and that's it! Someone mentioned about playlists, well all of mine showed up straight away. Great stuff.

Frustrating app that constantly crashes my kindle. Reverted to using the full web site and never do I have problems with streaming or crashing with it. Have deleted this app. Crap.

To remove the ads you simply need to pause when the video once it loads and then un-pause again and away they have gone. Simple as that. Try it, I promise it works.

I paid extra for the downloading capability so I could watch videos offline, this worked great for a few days but has now stopped working. Keep getting the error message "vtube has stopped" pop up constantly. This is a shame cuz the app would be fantastic if it worked. Cost money too so not happy. Fix or refund I think!

This works very well on my kindle fire and can check my own channel with no problems. Love it lots

This app represents the best YouTube app I have found for the Kindle Fire HD so far.

There are four menu screens accessible from the bottom of the screen. The first of these is the "Popular" screen, which shows the most popular general items currently accessible on YouTube. Next to this is the "Channel" link, which in common with the "Playlist" link requires a Google account log-in.

The "Category" screen provides a useful onscreen menu for different general content types. When a specific heading is selected a screen of most popular videos appropriate to the subject is loaded, making it very easy indeed to surf popular or topical content.

Streaming is variable and not always as fast as I would wish it to be, but when working well streams more than adequately. However this is more than likely due to to traffic issues etc with my broadband connection, in which case I have no reason to regard this as being as a consequence of an inadequacy in the app.
