Rick is a veteran web show producer and longtime advocate of independent web shows. He brings a lot of experience and passion to Blip's West Coast content team.

Rick's been involved in the web show community since its humble beginnings, where he participated in seminal events like the Halloween Vlogfest at Yahoo's HQ (2006) and Pixelodeon (2007) at AFI. In addition to producing one of the web's most recognizable & longest-running series, the pop culture show Epic Fu (Winner, 2009 Streamy Awards, Best Hosted Series), he's worked with creators and talent from seminal web shows like Rocketboom, Ask a Ninja, and LonelyGirl15. He's produced content for many of the top online networks, including Blip, Next New Networks, Revision3, Escapist Magazine, PBS, and others. As a frequent collaborator of Smashface Productions, an immersive entertainment company, he's partnered with forward-thinking brands like Pepsico, Carmex, Puma, Intel, Asus, and Jinx Clothing.

From producing national TV commercials to developing alternate reality games (ARG's), Rick's worked on a wide range of projects on a multitude of platforms. In 2010, Rick produced a digital pilot for BBC Worldwide and a 24-episode comedy/adventure web show for Escapist called A Good Knight's Quest (Official Selection, 2010 iTVFest). Rick continues to be active in the online video community &emdash; in 2009 he founded an organization called New Media West, a professional society for Web TV based in the Los Angeles area. He's also a member of the International Academy of Web Television.

Rick is a University of Michigan graduate and a native of Detroit, Michigan.
