Paris' FIAC Art Fair

FIAC is the French acronym for the International Contemporary Art Fair and after a four-day run it wraps up in Paris on Sunday. Held in the magnificent Grand Palais, the event attracts a host of international collectors, curators and dealers with works by A-list artists like Daniel Buren and Anish Kapoor. We asked Kamel Mennour, one of France's leading gallerists, to show us around.

Putting Poland on the Fashion Map

Her label is still virtually unknown outside her native Poland, but designer Anna Knaz plans to change that. She already produces haute couture and ready-to-wear collections, drawing inspiration from her idol, Gianni Versace.

Modern Builders

Brothers Bruno and Max Taut were among the leading avant-garde architects working in Berlin during the Weimar Republic years of the 1920s. They were part of the group that in 1923 formed the architectural association Der Ring, which later evolved into the Bauhaus. With their designs for social housing projcts, schools and monuments, the brothers left a lasting legacy in the German capital.
