Latin America

In Latin America, DW Akademie works mostly with local private stations as well as university and cultural broadcasters. The goal of all of DW Akademie's training courses is to improve the journalistic and technical quality of broadcasters' programs and to ensure their professional appearance. Particular attention is also paid to broadcast management. In cooperation with regional and umbrella organizations - topics such as audience research, program management, organizational and personnel management and financial planning are covered on site.

Conceived and implemented in modules, long-term training courses are taught at selected broadcasters in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Peru. Furthermore, support is also offered in the form of customized consulting for journalists, technicians and management.
