Damian and his new friends visiting Munich

GLOBAL IMPRESSIONS

A different kind of culture shock: "wonderful, kind and smiling residents of Munich".

Young Mexican Damian's experiences show that a "culture shock" doesn't always have to be negative.

Damian came to Germany for a language course, and ended up getting to know the most beautiful sides of Munich. Above all, he remembers the "wonderful, kind and smiling residents of Munich."

Amazing trip to Germany
"In July, I travelled to Munich for a German course. My trip was so amazing. I met a lot of people from all over the world. I lived with a host mother and a roommate."

History at its best while meeting friendly people

Germany's most famous castle Neuschwanstein

"During my stay in Germany, I learned a lot about the country and its past. I visited the holocaust memorial in Dachau, Neuschwanstein Castle and Partnach Gorge.
I took countless pictures of the new friends I met and of the wonderful people who live in Munich. They are always smiling and very kind."

Coming back soon
"I really enjoyed my stay in Germany and will return in the winter to improve my German language skills because I want to study anthropology at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.”
