Win an iPod touch on PopXport

In our competition, PopXport presents the ten German songs that made it highest in the worldwide charts and finds out which is our viewers’ favourite. So if you want to take part, choose your favourite and let us know.

We'll play the song that gets the most votes as a clip on the November 9, 2012 edition of PopXport. And we'll have a prize drawing among all the participants. The winner gets an iPod touch with 32 GB. Of course the ten hits will be on it!

The list was put together based on two criteria: we found out which singles reached the highest chart position in the three main music markets the US, Britain and Germany, as well as in one further country. Recording artists could only appear on the list once.

The man from Berlin is currently touring in support of his new album "Sonne." We'll also have videos from the rap-soul duo Xavas, guitar poppers Fools Garden and birthday boy Harold Faltermeyer.

PopXport introduces the new line-up. We also meet Berlin-based singer-songwriter Masha Qrella and this week's clips feature Ewig, Asaf Avidan & Wakelmut and Latino popsters No Mercy.

Pop collaborations are all the rage in Germany right now. The band Unheilig has also gotten in on the act and recruited singer Andreas Bourani for their recent single. We report on the shoot for their new video. Our HIT video features a second collaboration, between soul singer Xavier Naidoo and hip-hop artist Kool Savas. And we present the freshly-minted single by German pop-princess Lena.

The Berlin Music Week is on again, and PopXport is on the scene, checking out the concerts, the shows, the parties and, of course, the industry events. We also pay a visit to the melancholy German pop singer Maximilian Hecker, who is collecting legions of fans, especially in Asia. The videos in this edition include the German dancehall band Seeed, the Indie Madsen Brothers and the rockers Liquido.
