How to use the Online Returns Centre (Rücksendezentrum)

To return an item to us, please go to our Online Returns Centre (Rücksendezentrum) and obtain a printable return mailing label.

On the page "Rücksendezentrum" you have the following three options:

  • New Returns: Return or replace items from your purchased orders (Rücksendungen)
  • Gift Returns: Return or replace items that you received as gifts (Geschenkrücksendungen)
  • Existing Returns: Get the latest information on your current returns (Laufende Rücksendungen)

Select the appropriate option by clicking the corresponding button.
If you are returning an item you ordered yourself, select the appropriate order and click the yellow button ("Einen Artikel aus dieser Bestellung zurücksenden").

If you are returning a gift, enter the order number (which you'll find on the original packing slip) and click the yellow button.

On the page "Zur Rückgabe bestimmte Artikel auswählen" select the reason for your return from the drop down list ("Grund der Rücksendung").

Here are the reasons for return, translated into English:

  • Artikel wurde eindeutig während des Versands beschädigt--Item was clearly damaged in transit
  • Artikel wurde nicht sorgfältig für den Transport verpackt--Item wasn't adequately packaged to avoid damage in transit
  • Artikel ist defekt--Item is defective
  • Ich habe günstigere Preise gefunden--I found a better price elsewhere
  • Der Artikel kam nicht innerhalb der Lieferfrist--Item was not received by estimated delivery date
  • Das Produkt ist unvollständig: Teile/Zubehör fehlen--Item is missing parts/accessories
  • Das Produkt ist nicht vollständig kompatibel mit meinem System--Item is not completely compatible with my system
  • Ich habe den falschen Artikel bei Amazon.de bestellt--I ordered the wrong item from Amazon.de
  • Die Qualität/die Leistung des Produktes erfüllt meine Erwartungen nicht--Item performance/quality is not up to my expectations
  • Der Artikel gefällt mir nicht mehr--I just don't want it anymore
  • Keinen Grund angeben -- to give no reason

Underneath the return reason menu you are requested to indicate the number of items you wish to return. Add the number and continue by clicking the yellow button.

Depending on the reason for return you might next get the page: "Bitte wählen Sie Erstattung oder Ersatz". (If you don't get this page, please skip the next two paragraphs of this explanation.)

If you see this page, please tell us whether you prefer a refund ("Erstattung") or a replacement ("Ersatz").

Please enter a description of the defect in the field underneath. If you want to return an electrical item, please also add the serial number.

On the next page "Versandart auswählen" confirm your request by clicking the yellow button.

If you want to return an article within Germany you will now have the possibility to print a pre-paid return label.

You will then reach a page where you see a label. We would like to ask you to print out that page. Please cut out the label along the given lines and put it into your return package.

Do not change the size of the label when printing as this can make the label unreadable for our scanners.

If you cannot print the label, please include the payslip (the original or a copy) or a piece of paper with the name of the person who ordered the items, the order number and the reason for the return.

Return the package to the return address displayed on the page.

With your last click on the yellow button, we will receive your return details.
